

Lalithaa Jewellery is preparing to make its debut in the stock market after receiving the required approval from the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) for its initial public offering. The company has announced that its IPO will be open for subscription for three days, from August 17 to August 19. The price band has been fixed at Rs 190 to Rs 201 per share.
The jewellery retailer plans to raise a total of Rs 1,700 crore through the IPO. Of this, Rs 1,200 crore will be raised through a fresh issue of shares, while another Rs 500 crore is planned through an offer for sale. The company has been valued at around Rs 11,250 crore. Its shares are expected to be listed on both BSE and NSE on August 24. Lalithaa Jewellery entered the jewellery retail market in 1985 and has since built a significant retail network.
