An Indian expatriate living in Abu Dhabi, Sunil Kumar Sadashivan (52), has become a millionaire after winning the UAE Lottery's 30 million dirham (around ₹70 crore) jackpot. He matched all seven winning numbers announced in the 'Lucky Day' draw held on July 1, and the UAE Lottery organizers officially confirmed his victory.
Reacting to his win, Sunil Kumar said he initially thought he had misread the numbers and checked his ticket again before realizing he had actually won the jackpot. He said he could hardly believe the result at first. Notably, Sunil Kumar is the second winner of the 30 million dirham grand prize announced by the UAE Lottery in the last five weeks. Earlier, Nepali national Tayab Khan won the same jackpot, while Indian expatriate Anil Kumar Bolla had won the 100 million dirham grand prize in 2025.
