

Gold prices, which have witnessed significant fluctuations since the beginning of the month, declined today, offering some relief to buyers. Compared with September 27, the 24 carat gold price fell by Rs.251 per gram to Rs.15,017. The same rate is prevailing in Hyderabad, Warangal, Nizamabad, Khammam, Vijayawada, Visakhapatnam, Tirupati and Kadapa. In these cities, 22 carat gold is priced at Rs.13,765 per gram.
Meanwhile, silver prices also declined on Monday. The price of silver fell by Rs.5,000 per kilogram across the country, bringing the rate to Rs.2.45 lakh per kilogram in major cities across Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. This translates to around Rs.245 per gram. With gold and silver prices changing frequently, market sources advise buyers to check the prevailing local retail rates in their respective cities before making a purchase.
