Gold Prices Fall Further

Gold prices are declining in international markets amid expectations that the US Federal Reserve may raise its benchmark interest rate. The downward trend is also continuing in India. According to Goodreturns, at around 6:30 am on September 1, 24-carat gold in Hyderabad was priced at ₹1,56,760 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold was ₹1,43,690 and 18-carat gold was ₹1,17,570. Silver was trading at ₹2,59,900 per kg.

Gold prices in Hyderabad had fallen by more than ₹1,400 per 10 grams on Monday. In Warangal, Nizamabad and Khammam, 24-carat gold is ₹1,56,760, 22-carat gold is ₹1,43,690, and 18-carat gold is ₹1,17,570 per 10 grams. The same rates are prevailing in Vijayawada, Visakhapatnam, Guntur, Nellore and Tirupati in Andhra Pradesh.

Among major cities, Chennai recorded ₹1,56,760 for 24-carat, ₹1,43,690 for 22-carat, and ₹1,21,390 for 18-carat gold per 10 grams. In Mumbai, Kolkata, Bengaluru, Kerala and Pune, 24-carat gold is ₹1,56,760, 22-carat gold is ₹1,43,690, and 18-carat gold is ₹1,17,570. In Delhi, 24-carat gold is ₹1,56,910, 22-carat gold is ₹1,43,840, and 18-carat gold is ₹1,17,720.
