Gold prices witnessed a decline in the domestic bullion market, offering slight relief to buyers and investors. The price of 10 grams of 24-carat gold dropped by ₹440, reaching ₹1,59,490, while the rate of 22-carat gold fell by ₹400 to ₹1,46,200. Market analysts attribute the fall in gold prices to fluctuations in international bullion trends and currency movements.
In contrast, silver prices registered a sharp rise in today’s trading session. The price of one kilogram of silver increased by ₹5,000, touching ₹2,95,000. Traders say growing industrial demand and global market volatility are contributing to the rise in silver rates, while investors continue to closely monitor precious metal trends.
