Gold Demand Falls...What’s the Real Reason?

Gold prices in India have continued to decline for the second consecutive day. The price of fine gold has fallen by ₹3,880 over the past two days. Uncertainty in West Asia, a stronger US dollar and rising US Treasury yields have weighed on gold demand. In the Hyderabad bullion market, as of 6:30 am today, the 24-carat gold price stood at ₹1,48,790 per 10 grams. The 22-carat rate was ₹1,36,390, while 18-carat gold was priced at ₹1,11,590. Silver was priced at ₹2,39,990 per kg.
