Apple Still Follows Lessons From Jobs

October 5, 2026, marked 15 years since Apple co-founder and former CEO Steve Jobs passed away. His influence on Apple and the technology industry continues to be felt even today. Former Apple CEO and longtime friend Tim Cook remembered Jobs with an emotional message, saying that he not only changed the world and countless lives but also changed Cook’s life forever. Cook added that Jobs’ spirit continues to live on through everything he created and everyone he inspired.

Apple CEO John Ternus also paid tribute to Jobs, highlighting the values he brought to the company. Ternus said Jobs’ emphasis on caring about every detail, every experience and every person continues to guide Apple’s work. Jobs’ focus on simplicity, design and user experience remains closely associated with Apple’s product philosophy, even as the company expands into areas such as artificial intelligence and spatial computing.
