Bharti Airtel has announced a tariff revision for its postpaid customers, increasing the prices of its plans by around 3% to 10%. The revised tariffs will come into effect from October 8. Along with the price increase, the telecom company has introduced a complimentary international roaming benefit for customers. Under the revised plans, each SIM will be eligible for one free international roaming pack once a year.
The complimentary roaming pack comes with a five-day validity and includes 5GB of data, 60 minutes of calls, 25 outgoing SMS messages and free incoming SMS messages. Airtel said the benefit could be useful for customers who frequently travel abroad, while unlimited data and calling benefits under the eligible plans will continue. The revised individual postpaid plan has increased from Rs. 449 to Rs. 499, while the two-SIM family plan has risen from Rs. 699 to Rs. 749. The three-SIM plan has increased from Rs. 999 to Rs. 1,049, with higher-tier plans also revised.
