

Xiaomi launched the Xiaomi 17 series in China in September 2025, featuring the Xiaomi 17, Xiaomi 17 Pro, and Xiaomi 17 Pro Max. Last month, the company unveiled the latest addition, the Xiaomi 17 Ultra. Recently, a company executive confirmed that the Xiaomi 17 Ultra will soon be available in select international markets. Meanwhile, the standard Xiaomi 17 has been spotted on a European retailer’s website, revealing its specifications and pricing. The global variant will feature a slightly smaller 6,330mAh battery compared to the 7,000mAh unit in the Chinese model. The design, display, and other key features remain identical. According to Eurozone listings, the Xiaomi 17 with 512GB storage will start at approximately EUR 1,099, roughly Rs. 1,21,000.
The Chinese Xiaomi 17 is equipped with a 6.3-inch 1.5K OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 300Hz touch sampling rate, peak brightness of 3,500 nits, 19.6:9 aspect ratio, HDR 10+ support, and Dolby Vision. The phone is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 3nm octa-core chipset, paired with up to 16GB LPDDR5x RAM and 512GB UFS 4.1 storage. The Leica-powered triple rear camera setup includes a 50MP main camera, 50MP telephoto lens, and 50MP ultrawide lens, along with a 50MP front camera. The smartphone also carries an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance.
