Vivo has launched its latest premium foldable smartphone, the Vivo X Fold 6, in China with a strong focus on camera performance, battery capacity and large-screen productivity. The phone features an 8.02-inch 120Hz inner AMOLED display and a 6.53-inch cover display. It is powered by the 3nm MediaTek Dimensity 9500 Super Edition chipset and is available with up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage. The starting price in China is CNY 7,999 for the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage variant.
The camera setup includes a 200MP primary sensor, a 50MP ultra-wide camera and a 50MP periscope telephoto camera, with ZEISS imaging technology and support for an external teleconverter. Another major highlight is the 7,000mAh battery, which supports 80W wired and 40W wireless charging. The phone runs Android 16-based OriginOS 6 Fold in China. While reports have pointed to an India launch, Vivo has not officially confirmed the Indian launch date or pricing yet, so the reported October 6 date and expected price above Rs.1.5 lakh should be treated as unconfirmed information.
