Tecno expanded its AI-driven product ecosystem at Mobile World Congress 2026 with the launch of the new Camon 50 Series. The lineup, which succeeds last year’s Camon 40 models, includes the Camon 50 and Camon 50 Pro, both powered by the MediaTek Helio G200 Ultimate chipset. The smartphones feature a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate, running on Android 16 with HiOS 16. The Pro variant offers 16GB RAM and 256GB storage, while the standard model provides up to 12GB RAM and 256GB storage.
In terms of cameras, the Camon 50 Pro comes with a 50MP primary sensor with OIS, a 50MP telephoto lens with 3X optical zoom, and a 8MP ultra-wide camera. The standard Camon 50 includes a 50MP main camera without OIS and the same ultra-wide lens. Both devices feature a 32MP front camera. They are equipped with a 6,500mAh battery supporting 45W fast charging, along with in-display fingerprint sensors, Dolby Atmos dual speakers, NFC, and AI-powered enhancements for photography and performance.
Tecno also announced a strategic partnership with Tonino Lamborghini to introduce luxury-inspired co-branded products. The first release under this collaboration is the Tonino Lamborghini Tecno Taurus (Mega Mini G1 Pro), claimed to be the world’s smallest water-cooling gaming PC. The company further showcased its Modular Magnetic Interconnection Technology concept, allowing users to upgrade smartphone features through swappable magnetic accessories, signaling Tecno’s plans to expand into a broader AIoT ecosystem.
