Sonodyne has introduced two audio products aimed at different home entertainment requirements — the Sama 7000 soundbar and the Malhar G2 speaker. The Sama 7000 is a 5.1.2-channel Dolby Atmos soundbar system featuring full-range drivers for the left, centre, right and surround channels, along with dedicated height channels. Its top-firing speakers create an immersive audio experience, while the wireless subwoofer with a 10-inch high-excursion driver adds deep bass to movies and music. The system supports HDMI eARC with 4K Dolby Vision passthrough, optical, AUX and Bluetooth connectivity. At Rs 74,999, it is positioned as an all-in-one home cinema audio solution.
The Malhar G2, meanwhile, is designed primarily for music lovers. Its rigid wooden cabinet gives it a premium appearance while helping minimise cabinet resonance. The speaker produces powerful, detailed and room-filling audio, making it suitable for larger living spaces. It supports HDMI ARC, optical and USB connectivity, along with Bluetooth, and comes with a remote for adjusting volume, bass, treble and sources. Its warm presentation and ability to reproduce finer musical details make it particularly appealing to classical and acoustic music listeners. Priced at Rs 55,000, the Malhar G2 is aimed at users who prioritise music over cinematic features.
