Samsung has stepped into the world of mixed reality with the launch of its Galaxy XR headset at the October 2025 Galaxy Unpacked event. This marks the company’s first-ever extended reality device, blending digital visuals seamlessly into the real world. The headset supports hand gesture controls, thanks to advanced sensors placed around the frame — allowing users to interact naturally without controllers. The Galaxy XR also proudly becomes the first headset to run Android XR right out of the box.
