Redmi Turbo 5 Max is set to launch in China later this month. Xiaomi has confirmed key details of the upcoming smartphone, including its chipset, battery, and design. The handset will feature a dual rear camera setup housed in a pill-shaped module with an LED flash, along with a hole-punch display on the front.
The Redmi Turbo 5 Max will pack a massive 9,000mAh battery, which the company claims delivers battery life comparable to a 10,000mAh cell. It is also confirmed to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9500s chipset, making it the world’s first smartphone to use this processor.
Design-wise, the phone will come in an “Ocean Breeze Blue” colour, feature a flat CNC metal frame, and carry Redmi branding on the back. It will sport a 50-megapixel rear camera with optical image stabilisation and a fibreglass back panel. The device has also reportedly appeared on AnTuTu with an overall benchmark score of around 3.29 million points. More launch details are expected to be announced soon.
