Oura Ring 5 Global Launch: How Special Are Its New AI Health Features?

Oura has officially launched the Oura Ring 5 globally, introducing a more compact design, upgraded sensors, and advanced AI-powered health monitoring features. Compared to its predecessor, the smart ring offers improved accuracy through enhanced signal pathways and includes features such as Health Radar, Blood Pressure Signals, Nighttime Breathing Monitoring, and Live Activity Tracking. The wearable also comes with IP68 protection and water resistance up to 100 metres.

The Oura Ring 5 starts at $399 in the US, while premium variants are priced at $499. The company has not yet announced pricing or availability details for India. However, software features including Health Radar, Blood Pressure Signals, and GLP-1 Insights are expected to roll out for Indian users in June 2026. AI-powered health recommendations and integrated health records further strengthen its position as a next-generation wellness wearable.
