Nvidia RTX Spark PCs Set for October Launch With New Local AI Features

Nvidia has confirmed that its RTX Spark Windows PCs will arrive in October as a new category of compact computing systems focused on local AI workloads. The platform combines an RTX Blackwell GPU capable of up to 1 petaflop, up to 128GB of unified memory and a 20-core Grace CPU. Nvidia says these systems are designed to handle local AI agents while also supporting gaming and creative applications. Lenovo has announced the Yoga Pro 9n and Yoga 9n 2-in-1 based on the platform, while Acer has showcased a compact desktop design. Nvidia said six other PC makers are also preparing RTX Spark systems for the October launch.

Alongside the hardware, Nvidia announced software updates aimed at making local AI easier to use on Windows PCs. Hermes Agent, OpenClaw and Perplexity Portable Computer are set to receive simpler local model setup, while updates to llama.cpp and vLLM are designed to improve inference performance. Nvidia also introduced Personal AI Router, or PAIR, an open-source tool that can distribute AI inference requests across compatible computers on the same local network. The beta supports Windows, macOS and Linux, along with newer GeForce RTX GPUs, RTX PRO workstation GPUs, DGX Spark and Apple M4 or newer systems.
