The ongoing AI Impact Summit 2026 has brought together global industry leaders, technocrats, and emerging technology firms to discuss the future of artificial intelligence. As part of the five-day event, an innovation expo inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi is showcasing cutting-edge solutions and fostering international collaborations.
During the summit, Indian AI company Mihup.ai announced a strategic partnership with US-based chipmaker Qualcomm to develop on-device Voice AI solutions. This technology processes conversations directly on the device instead of sending data to cloud servers, enhancing privacy, speed, and operational efficiency.
The solution is tailored for the Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance sector, enabling real-time conversation analysis, detecting urgency or emotional cues, and routing customers to human agents when necessary. The company claims the system is significantly more cost-efficient than cloud based AI while delivering faster and more personalised customer interactions.
