Motorola is expanding its Android 17 rollout to more than 50 smartphones across its recent and current portfolio. The Motorola Edge 2025 has already started receiving the stable update, while other eligible devices are expected to get it in phases over the coming weeks and months. The list includes Razr foldables, Edge-series smartphones, Moto G models and the Motorola Signature. Newer devices are expected to receive the update earlier, although availability may vary by market and carrier.
The Android 17 rollout is expected to introduce improvements to multitasking, window management and large-screen support, features that could be particularly useful on Motorola’s foldable Razr lineup. Eligible models include devices from the Razr 2024, 2025 and 2026 ranges, several Edge 50, Edge 60 and Edge 70 models, and numerous Moto G smartphones. Motorola users can check availability under Settings > System > System Updates. The company recommends backing up important data, connecting to Wi-Fi and ensuring the phone has sufficient charge before installing the update.
