Microsoft has announced the release of the latest Windows 11 Insider Preview Build 26220.7051 (KB5067115) to both the Dev and Beta Channels. This update brings two major highlights — the Ask Copilot feature integrated into the taskbar and a new Shared Audio capability currently in preview testing. With Ask Copilot, users can now access Copilot Vision and Voice tools directly from the taskbar with a single click. This opt-in experience allows seamless interaction with Copilot using text, voice, or guided support. Users can enable it via Settings > Personalisation > Taskbar > Ask Copilot. Microsoft confirmed that Copilot only uses existing Windows APIs and does not access personal data.
Another key addition is the Shared Audio feature, built using Bluetooth Low Energy (LE) Audio broadcast technology. It enables two devices to share and play the same audio simultaneously — an ideal option for shared listening experiences on Copilot+ PCs. The update also expands the Full-Screen Experience (FSE), initially launched with the Asus ROG Ally and Ally X, to more handheld gaming PCs. Starting with MSI Claw models, the rollout will continue to additional OEMs soon. This upgrade promises smoother task switching, better performance, and an optimized gaming experience.
Along with these new features, the build includes several bug fixes and performance improvements, marking another step toward a smarter, more connected Windows 11 ecosystem.
