Meta has introduced a new paid subscription service called ‘WhatsApp Plus’ for WhatsApp users. The service is priced at ₹79 per month, with a free trial available for the first 30 days. Users can upgrade by going to WhatsApp settings, selecting the subscriptions section, and choosing WhatsApp Plus under the “Upgrade your messaging experience” option.
The new premium plan offers several additional features. Users can pin up to 20 chats instead of 3, making important conversations easily accessible. It also allows full customization of the app, including changing the WhatsApp logo color, chat themes, message bubbles, wallpapers, notification tones, and ringtones. Premium themes such as Royal Purple, Velvet Red, and Cyber Punk Blue are included. Users can also create custom chat lists, use animated stickers, and enjoy advanced personalization features. The subscription can be cancelled anytime.
