Kindle App Gets AI Update: Amazon Launches Ask This Book Feature

Amazon has introduced a new AI-powered feature called Ask This Book for its Kindle app on iOS, allowing readers to ask questions about their current or previously purchased books without receiving spoilers. The feature enables users to ask about a book, a chapter, or even a highlighted passage, providing contextual, spoiler-free answers.

Currently, Ask This Book is available only in the US and supports a wide range of English-language books. Amazon plans to expand the feature to Android and Kindle devices next year. Users can access it from the in-book menu or after highlighting text, type their own questions, choose AI-generated suggestions, and even ask follow-up questions. This tool helps readers clarify plot details, character relationships, and thematic elements without interrupting their reading experience.
