Jio Expands Free Google AI Pro Access to Everyone — Here’s How to Activate It!

Reliance Jio has officially made its free 18-month Google AI Pro subscription available to users of all age groups. Initially, this offer was limited to those between 18 and 25 years of age, but now the telecom operator has extended eligibility to everyone. This move comes after Jio’s partnership with Google, where both companies promised to provide free access to Gemini Pro features for one and a half years.

To activate the free subscription, users must have an active Jio SIM with an unlimited 5G plan. After ensuring this, open the MyJio app on your phone. On the home page, you will see an “Early Access” banner — tap on it and select the “Claim Now” option. A new browser page will open showing the details of the plan. Scroll down, click on “Agree,” and the subscription will be activated. Once done, open the Gemini app to confirm your Pro status.

The Google AI Pro subscription, which normally costs ₹1,950 per month, unlocks several powerful features. Users get access to the advanced Gemini 2.5 Pro AI model, image generation tools such as Nano Banana and Deep Research, and the ability to create AI videos with sound using Veo 3.1 Fast. Developers can also access the Gemini Command Line Interface and Code Assist IDE extensions with higher rate limits.

Apart from these, the plan offers seamless integration across Google Workspace apps like Gmail, Drive, Docs, and Sheets. Subscribers also get access to platforms like Whisk, Flow, and NotebookLM with extended usage limits, along with 2TB of cloud storage shared across Drive, Gmail, and Photos. This offer combines creativity, productivity, and innovation, making Google’s AI ecosystem available to every Jio user for free.
