Chinese smartphone maker Honor has announced that it will launch the Honor Robot Phone and Honor Magic V6 globally at MWC 2026 in Barcelona on March 1. The phones will be showcased during the company’s “AI Device Ecosystem Era” event from 1pm to 2pm CET (12:30am – 1:30am IST), with further details expected in the coming weeks.
The Honor Robot Phone will be Honor’s first handset featuring an AI camera assistant that pops out from the rear camera setup. The camera is attached to a gimbal and rotating motor and was first teased in October 2025. The company claims the phone combines an “AI brain” with “robot mobility,” allowing it to answer user queries based on the surroundings, such as recommending shoes to match outfits or identifying dog breeds.
Details about the Honor Magic V6 have also emerged. The foldable phone is expected to be powered by Qualcomm’s octa-core 3nm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset. It may include a 200MP main camera, a periscope telephoto rear camera with 3x optical zoom, and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for security.
Regarding battery, the Magic V6 has been spotted on China’s 3C database with a dual-cell 2320mAh + 4680mAh setup, totaling 7150mAh. This aligns with previous reports suggesting a dual-cell 7,200mAh battery.
