Google has rolled out its latest Pixel Feature Drop for November 2025, introducing an exciting lineup of AI-powered features and tools for Pixel users worldwide.
The highlight of this update is the Remix feature in the Google Messages app, which allows users to restyle any photo using Google’s Nano Banana image editing model, a part of its Gemini AI technology. With Remix, users can transform regular selfies, portraits, or even pet photos into creative styles such as 3D animations, anime, sketches, and more. The remixed photos can be viewed by any recipient, regardless of their device. Moreover, if both participants are using Google Messages, they can remix the same image collaboratively without leaving the chat.
Another major addition is AI-powered Notification Summaries. This feature automatically summarises lengthy group chats and message threads in the notification shade, helping users catch up on conversations at a glance. Starting from December 2025, Pixel devices will also begin organizing and silencing lower-priority notifications to minimize distractions and provide a cleaner user experience.
In terms of safety, Google has expanded its Scam Detection feature. Pixel 6 and newer models in the United States will now show a “Likely Scam” warning when suspicious messages are detected. This AI-driven system identifies speech and text patterns commonly associated with scammers, offering an extra layer of protection against fraud.
The update also upgrades the VIP widget with a new crisis badge, which delivers real-time alerts about natural disasters and emergencies, such as floods or severe weather, in a user’s area.
Meanwhile, Google Photos in the US now supports personalized AI photo edits, and Google Maps introduces a Power Saving Mode that displays only essential navigation details to conserve battery life. Users can also personalize their Pixel devices with the new “Wicked: For Good” theme packs, inspired by the upcoming film Wicked.
Lastly, Google is broadening the reach of two Pixel-exclusive features — Scam Detection and Call Notes — to more countries. Scam Detection will now be available on Pixel 9 and newer models in Australia, Canada, India, Ireland, and the United Kingdom. Similarly, the Call Notes feature, which uses on-device AI to record calls, generate notes, and create transcripts and summaries, will be offered in Australia, Canada, Ireland, Japan, and the United Kingdom.
