Google has introduced Gemini 3.1 Pro, the latest addition to its Gemini 3 series of AI models, designed to handle more complex reasoning and problem-solving tasks. The model is being rolled out to developers, enterprises, and individual users through platforms such as Google AI Studio, Vertex AI, the Gemini app, and NotebookLM, with higher usage limits for premium subscribers.
According to the company, the new model shows significant performance improvements in advanced reasoning benchmarks, particularly in evaluating unfamiliar logic patterns and academic-style problem solving. It also demonstrates better output quality in areas such as generating detailed vector graphics and structured visual content compared to earlier versions.
Separately, Google Labs has added a new “Photoshoot” capability to its Pomelli marketing assistant. The feature enables users to create a full portfolio of campaign-ready visuals from a single product image, automatically generating multiple angles and promotional creatives aimed at simplifying digital marketing workflows.
