Google has expanded its enterprise AI portfolio with the launch of Gemini Enterprise for Legal, a specialised suite designed for lawyers, law firms and corporate legal departments. The new offering is aimed at automating both routine and complex legal workflows, allowing professionals to focus more on high-value work while maintaining data security and governance. The platform includes dedicated plug-ins that connect Gemini Enterprise with legal software and data platforms, while also providing access to AI agents designed for specialised legal and administrative tasks.
Gemini Enterprise for Legal can support workflows including regulatory monitoring, data discovery, contract review and negotiation, document redaction and NDA drafting. It can also connect with legal technology platforms from Thomson Reuters, Harvey and Legora through secure integrations. Google said it plans to introduce similar industry-focused AI tools for financial services and other sectors in the near future. The move comes as technology companies increasingly compete to provide specialised AI solutions for professional industries, with rivals such as Anthropic already expanding their enterprise offerings for legal and financial workflows.
