ChatGPT may soon integrate with the Apple Health App. An image of the health-focused app was reportedly found in the iOS version of ChatGPT, sparking speculation that the chatbot could soon connect with the app to process users health and activity data to answer queries.
According to MacRumors, the image includes sections like Activity, Breathing, Diet, Hearing and Sleep. It appears to be a promotional image potentially used by OpenAI or Apple to introduce the integration. However, no code or implementation details have been revealed, and it is unclear whether the ChatGPT app will connect independently or be integrated within the Health App.
Currently, ChatGPT is integrated with several Apple Intelligence and first-party apps on iOS. Integration with Apple Health, however, may concern some users as it involves sensitive personal health data. Neither company has officially confirmed this integration, so it is possible that it is still a proposed feature or may never be released. Users are advised to take this information with caution until an official announcement is made.
