AWS Announces Permanent Builder Loft in Hyderabad

Hyderabad has received a major boost to its technology and startup ecosystem, with Amazon Web Services announcing plans to open a permanent AWS Builder Loft in the city. AWS announced the upcoming Hyderabad facility along with new Builder Lofts planned for Berlin and São Paulo. The initiative follows the success of AWS’s first permanent Builder Loft in San Francisco, which has hosted more than 22,500 developers since opening in July 2025.

The Hyderabad Builder Loft will serve as a dedicated community space where students, developers, startup founders and technology professionals can learn, collaborate and build new ideas. AWS plans to offer free workshops, networking events, pitch nights, content-creation facilities, collaboration and co-working areas, as well as opportunities for community groups to host events. The Hyderabad centre will particularly focus on helping Indian developers strengthen their AI skills, explore cloud-native architecture and connect with others working on next-generation applications.
