Apple Inc.’s incoming CEO John Ternus has reportedly begun reshaping the company’s operations with a strong focus on artificial intelligence even before officially taking charge in September. Currently serving as Senior Vice President of Hardware Engineering, Ternus is said to be introducing an AI-driven platform aimed at speeding up product development and improving device quality, marking a significant shift in Apple’s internal processes.
The transition follows the planned step-down of current CEO Tim Cook. Reports suggest that Ternus aims to embed AI deeply across workflows and lead Apple into a more execution-focused era. The company is also exploring AI-powered products such as smart home devices, advanced cameras, and wearable technology. While expectations are high, strengthening Apple’s position in the AI space is expected to be one of his biggest challenges.
