Anthropic Extends Free Access to Claude Fable 5 for Paid Users

AI startup Anthropic has once again extended complimentary access to its flagship AI model, Claude Fable 5, for paid subscribers. The company announced that users with Claude Pro, Max, Team, and eligible Enterprise subscriptions can continue using the model until July 19, 2026, without purchasing additional usage credits. This marks the third extension after the original July 7 deadline was first moved to July 12.

Under the extended offer, subscribers can use Claude Fable 5 for up to 50% of their weekly usage limit at no additional cost. Anthropic clarified that the model consumes tokens faster than other Claude models, and once users reach the free limit, they can either purchase usage credits or switch to another Claude model. The company also stated that full access to Fable 5 will be restored once it has sufficient computing resources to meet growing demand.
