Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates has expressed concerns over the rapid growth of artificial intelligence (AI) technology. He warned that millions of jobs worldwide could disappear permanently as AI adoption expands. Gates said AI is fundamentally different from previous technological revolutions and could pose a serious risk to humanity in the future.

In an interview with The New York Times, Gates proposed introducing a tax on AI use, referring to it as a “token tax.” He said such a measure could make it more expensive for companies to replace human workers with AI. Gates also suggested reserving certain jobs exclusively for humans to protect employment opportunities.
