Dell CEO Michael Dell has stated that countries across the world are aggressively investing in AI infrastructure, including data centres and compute systems, as artificial intelligence increasingly becomes a race for global dominance. Speaking at the Dell Technologies World conference in Las Vegas, Dell said AI infrastructure is now as strategically important as energy, semiconductors, communications and defence systems for sovereign nations.
Michael Dell also highlighted India’s growing importance in the global AI ecosystem, saying Dell is ready to support the country’s expanding AI infrastructure needs. With demand for AI services rapidly increasing, companies like Dell, Nvidia and Google are focusing heavily on building advanced AI servers, chips and data centres. Dell currently has more than 5,000 clients for its AI Factory server platform powered by Nvidia technology.
