Google has released a new beta update for the Google Translate app. With this update, users can listen to real-time translations directly through their headphones. This feature turns regular wired or wireless headphones into live translation tools and supports over 70 languages.
Understanding conversations, lectures, speeches, or foreign-language content has now become much easier. The feature preserves the speaker’s tone, pronunciation, and rhythm, making it clear who is speaking and what they are saying.
This beta feature is currently available on Android devices in India, the United States, and Mexico. Google has announced that by 2026, the feature will expand to iOS devices and more countries. With the integration of Gemini AI, accents, idioms, and local expressions are translated more naturally.
How to use:
Open Google Translate → Connect your headphones → Tap on “Live Translation” → Select the source language and target language → The translated audio will play through your headphones.
