Zverev and Andreeva Make Strong Start at French Open

Second seed Alexander Zverev made a strong start at the French Open by advancing to the second round of the men’s singles event. The German star defeated Benjamin Bonzi 6-3, 6-4, 6-2 in straight sets. In another match, 13th seed Karen Khachanov beat Arthur Rinderknech 6-3, 7-6(3), 6-0 to secure his place in the next round.

In the women’s singles, Mirra Andreeva registered a comfortable 6-3, 6-3 win over Fiona Ferro. Belinda Bencic also progressed with a 6-3, 6-2 victory against Sinja Kraus. American player Hailey battled past Krejcikova 6-7(7), 7-6(6), 6-2 in a thrilling contest.
