Ace shuttler P. V. Sindhu has recently been spotted wearing a small device near her temple during competitions and public appearances. The gadget drew significant attention after she was seen wearing it while meeting star cricketer Virat Kohli at a sports conclave in Bengaluru. The device, named “Temple,” is an artificial intelligence-powered chip designed to monitor brain blood flow and assess the mental condition of athletes.
The AI-based device can analyze stress levels, mental fatigue, and cognitive performance in real time, helping coaches and trainers make accurate decisions regarding athlete preparation and recovery. The innovative technology is being developed by Deepinder Goyal, founder of Zomato. Currently in the experimental stage, the device is already generating excitement in sports circles, with experts believing it could become a revolutionary tool for athlete performance and mental wellness.
