Virat Kohli’s Intensity Inspired at Least Five Teammates- Former Fielding Coach T Dilip

Virat Kohli has long been regarded as one of the fittest cricketers in Indian cricket, and his approach to fielding has also influenced several teammates. Former India fielding coach T Dilip has revealed that Kohli’s intensity on the field has inspired at least five players in the team to follow his example. Dilip highlighted Kohli’s exceptional energy, agility and commitment, particularly while fielding in positions such as cover and short mid-wicket.

Dilip said Kohli maintains the same intensity during practice sessions and matches. Even at this stage of his career, the former India fielding coach noted that Kohli is willing to sprint from long-on to long-off to stop the ball and quickly move towards the boundary after the powerplay. According to Dilip, Kohli’s desire to reach even balls that are some distance away sets him apart. After spending five years as India’s fielding coach, Dilip recently completed his tenure following the England series.
