Virat Kohli continued his fine form in the Vijay Hazare Trophy, scoring a fluent half-century against Gujarat. Delhi posted a competitive total and went on to secure a narrow seven-run victory. Kohli followed up his opening-match century with another impressive knock, setting the tone for Delhi.
Across the tournament, several teams produced big performances. Mumbai piled up a massive total despite Rohit Sharma’s early dismissal, while Uttar Pradesh registered a dominant win powered by twin centuries. Karnataka cruised to victory on the back of centuries from Karun Nair and Devdutt Padikkal.
Hyderabad suffered their second defeat of the tournament, losing to Vidarbha, while Andhra Pradesh opened their account with a comfortable win over Railways, led by an all-round effort from Hemanth Reddy.
