

Vaibhav Sooryavanshi produced one of the most dominant innings in the history of the Under-19 World Cup, smashing a breathtaking century off just 55 balls in the final against England. His fearless batting featured towering sixes and jaw-dropping strokeplay, turning the match decisively in India’s favour on the biggest stage of youth cricket.
The Indian youngster remained unstoppable throughout the innings and eventually finished with a sensational 175 runs, marking the end of a truly historic knock. This performance saw him register the second-highest number of centuries for India in Youth OneDay Internationals, underlining his growing stature in age-group cricket.
Sooryavanshi also rewrote record books by hitting a record 15 sixes in a single U19 World Cup innings, the most ever in the tournament’s history. He now holds the record for the most sixes by any player in a Youth ODI innings, surpassing his own previous tally of 14 against UAE U19 in December.
