India emerged as the Under-19 ODI World Cup champions after delivering a dominant performance against England in the final held at Harare. Batting first, India posted a massive total of 411 for 9 in 50 overs. Star batter Vaibhav Suryavanshi played a sensational knock of 175 runs, laying a strong foundation for India’s commanding total.
Chasing a daunting target of 412, England struggled against disciplined Indian bowling and were bowled out for 311 runs in 40.2 overs, handing India a comprehensive 100-run victory. Although Falconer scored a century, it went in vain. Among the Indian bowlers, Ambrish picked up three wickets, Deepesh claimed two, while Khilan, Kanishk, and Ayush took one wicket each. With this emphatic win, India lifted the Under-19 World Cup title in style.
