

India cruised into the semifinals of the Under-19 Cricket World Cup 2026 after registering a commanding 58-run victory over Pakistan in the Super Sixes clash. Chasing a target of 253, Pakistan were bowled out for 194 in 46.2 overs. Usman Khan top-scored with 66, while Hamza Zahoor (42) and Farhan Yousuf (38) offered resistance. For India, Khilan Patel and Ayush Mhatre picked up three wickets each, while Ambarish, Henil Patel, Kanishk Chauhan, and Vihaan Malhotra claimed one wicket apiece.
Earlier, India were dismissed for 252 in 49.5 overs after losing three early wickets for just 47 runs. Vedant Trivedi anchored the innings with a vital 68 off 98 balls, while Vaibhav Suryavanshi played a quick 30. Contributions from RS Ambarish (29), Vihaan Malhotra (21), Abhignan Kundu (16), and Aaron George (16) helped stabilize the innings. Late fireworks from Kanishk Chauhan (35) and Khilan Patel (21) lifted India to a competitive total. In the semifinals, Australia will face England on February 3, while India will take on Afghanistan on February 4.
