Indian Grandmaster Iniyan Panneerselvam delivered an outstanding performance at the Commonwealth Chess Championship held in Kalutara, Sri Lanka. He won gold medals in both the rapid and blitz categories, achieving a remarkable double triumph.
In the rapid event, India’s Srihari secured the silver medal, while Mitrabha claimed the bronze medal. Indian players dominated the competition with impressive performances across categories.
Indian Grandmasters also excelled in the blitz section. Rohith won the silver medal, while Srihari added a bronze medal to his tally. The strong performance of Indian players brought pride to the country at the Commonwealth Chess Championship.
