

Mumbai Indians registered a thrilling six-wicket victory over Punjab Kings in an IPL 2026 encounter held at the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium in Dharamshala. Batting first, Punjab Kings posted a challenging total of 200/8 in 20 overs. Prabhsimran Singh scored a brilliant 57, while Azmatullah Omarzai added a quick 38 runs. For Mumbai, Shardul Thakur delivered an impressive spell, claiming four wickets.
Chasing 201, Mumbai Indians received a strong start from Ryan Rickelton, who scored 48 runs. Despite losing wickets in the middle overs, Tilak Varma played a sensational unbeaten knock of 75 runs off just 33 balls, smashing six fours and six sixes. Will Jacks contributed 25 valuable runs as Mumbai successfully chased down the target in 19.5 overs, finishing at 205/4.
