Telangana Government Delegation Heads to Japan to Observe Asian Games

A Telangana government delegation led by Sports and Youth Services Minister Vakiti Srihari has left for Japan to observe the ongoing Asian Games and study the arrangements being made for the international sporting event. The six-member delegation includes government Sports Advisor A.P. Jithender Reddy, Special Chief Secretary Jayesh Ranjan, former Sports Authority of Telangana chairman Shiva Sena Reddy and SATG Vice-Chairperson and Managing Director A. Sonibala Devi.

During their six-day visit, the delegation will study the organisation of international sporting competitions, modern sports infrastructure and training facilities provided to athletes. The observations are expected to help Telangana strengthen its sports ecosystem, improve infrastructure and create more opportunities for athletes to compete at national and international levels.
