The Telangana Cricket Association (TCA) has lodged a complaint with the Enforcement Directorate (ED), alleging that top officials of the Hyderabad Cricket Association (HCA) diverted IPL tickets and passes to the black market. TCA claims that the HCA is attempting to embezzle crores of rupees. According to the complaint, 103 original clubs were removed, and over 80 fake clubs were added to the HCA’s membership list.
TCA further alleged that corruption worth up to Rs. 600 crore occurred over the last 10 years. The association has requested the ED to thoroughly examine HCA accounts and transactions to uncover irregularities. The case has raised serious concerns about transparency and governance in cricket administration in Telangana.
