

Sri Lanka Cricket has officially released the schedule for the two-match Test series against the India national cricket team, set to take place in August this year in Sri Lanka. The series is part of the ICC World Test Championship 2025–2027 cycle. Notably, this marks India’s return to playing a Test series in Sri Lanka after nearly nine years, making it a highly anticipated contest among cricket fans.

The series is expected to play a crucial role in the World Test Championship points table for both teams. All matches will begin at 10:00 AM local time. The first Test will be held from August 15 to 19 at the Galle International Cricket Stadium, while the second Test is scheduled from August 23 to 27 in Colombo. With high stakes involved, both teams will aim to start their campaign strongly.
