Tickets for next year’s Men’s T20 World Cup will officially go on sale today at 6:45 PM IST (13:15 GMT). The ICC has announced that fans in India can buy match tickets starting at just ₹100, making it one of the most affordable World Cup events in recent years. In Sri Lanka, where several matches will also be hosted, ticket prices begin at LKR 1000 ($3.26).
The decision to keep entry prices low is aimed at making the tournament accessible to a larger number of cricket fans, especially students and families. The ICC expects very high demand since India is one of the host nations and cricket fever has been at an all-time high following recent international tournaments. Popular matches, especially those featuring India, are likely to sell out within minutes once the portal opens.
The T20 World Cup 2026 will be played across multiple cities in India and Sri Lanka, and the ICC is encouraging fans to purchase tickets early to avoid last-minute rush. With affordable pricing and a massive fan base across both countries, the tournament is expected to draw record-breaking stadium attendances and create a vibrant atmosphere throughout the event.
