India’s young shooter Suruchi Singh delivered a brilliant performance in the Shooting World Cup Final, winning the gold medal in the 10m air pistol event. Suruchi topped the final with a score of 245.1, continuing her outstanding form after winning four gold medals earlier this year. She qualified second with 586 points and dominated the final from start to finish. India’s Sanyam Singh secured the silver with 243.3 points, while Olympian Manu Bhaker finished fifth.
Suruchi also broke Manu Bhaker’s junior world record (244.7) with her exceptional final score. In the men’s event, Samrat won the bronze with 221.5 points. China’s Hu Kai claimed the gold, and Germany’s Christian Reitz won silver. However, India struggled in the 10m air rifle category, where Rudrankksh Patil finished fourth, Arjun Babuta sixth, and Elavenil Valarivan failed to qualify for the final.
