Ferran Torres emerged as the hero by scoring the winning goal in the 106th minute, helping Spain reclaim the World Cup title for the first time since its historic triumph in 2010.
The victory also brought a massive financial reward for Spain. The champions received $50 million (approximately ₹420 crore) in prize money. Argentina earned $33 million (around ₹277 crore) as runners-up, while England secured third place and received $29 million (approximately ₹243 crore). France finished fourth and took home $27 million (around ₹225 crore), making the tournament a memorable success for the top four teams.
