West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee expressed her belief that former Team India captain Sourav Ganguly will one day become the President of the International Cricket Council (ICC). Speaking at an event held at Eden Gardens, Kolkata, to felicitate Women’s World Cup winner Richa Ghosh, Mamata said, “I always speak my mind, and I strongly feel Ganguly should have continued as ICC President.”
She also highlighted Ganguly’s notable contributions during his tenure as BCCI President, calling him a true ambassador of Indian cricket.
