Indian archers, including Telugu athletes Jyothi Surekha and Chikita Thaniparthi, impressed at the Archery World Cup Stage-4 with strong performances and medal-winning efforts. In the women’s compound team final, the Indian trio of Jyothi Surekha, Chikita Thaniparthi, and Preetika Pradeep secured the silver medal after losing to Colombia 228-232.
Maharashtra’s 17-year-old archer Preetika Pradeep also delivered a remarkable performance by winning two medals in the tournament. Along with the silver medal in the team event, she claimed a bronze medal in the compound individual category. The achievements highlighted the growing strength of Indian archery on the international stage.
